Viewing event › WEBINAR series: Primary Progressive Aphasia - Speech and Language-Based Dementia
Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by speech and language impairments. In the past, PPA research has largely focused on Indo-European speakers. Thus, the generalizability of current diagnostic criteria and treatment protocol in Cantonese speakers remain elusive.
In this webinar, Dr. Boon Lead Tee, a neurologist from the University of California San Francisco and Dr. Lorinda Kwan, a speech therapist from the Education University of Hong Kong will share their current clinical research on the many aspects of PPA in Cantonese speakers.
