The Division of Speech Therapy of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Institute of Human Communicative Research will jointly organize a webinar on "Golden Opportunity or Potential Crisis? Being a Speech Therapist in Residential Care Homes for the Elderly (RCHE)” on 5 December 2020 (Saturday).
Dysphagia management is probably the major but potentially risky role that a speech therapist plays in the residential care homes for the elderly (RCHE). Assessing and managing dysphagia is challenging because of the various limitations. This webinar aims to specifically enhance participants’ knowledge in dysphagia management and in particular, the tools and skills you need to survive in a RCHE environment.
