SUMMARY:Best Practices in Enhancing Swallowing Safety: Implementing IDDSI Framework in Hong Kong
DESCRIPTION:The Hong Kong IDDSI Reference Group (HKIRG) and the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists (HKAST) are excited to hold a half-day professional development event aimed at speech therapists in Hong Kong. This event will focus on the implementation of the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) framework across various clinical settings and in the community\, as well as the promotion of different ways of diet modification for individuals with swallowing difficulties. Through a combination of informative sessions and practical workshops\, this event aims to provide speech therapists with valuable insights\, strategies\, and networking opportunities to enhance their practice and contribute to better patient care.
