SUMMARY:Evidence-based Approaches to Child Language Intervention : An overview
DESCRIPTION:Have you been thinking about alternative intervention approaches for the children with language and\ncommunication problems on your caseloads? As a profession\, can we describe for one another\, or\nparents and teachers and other interested individuals\, the intervention procedures or approaches that\nwe use?\nIn this talk\, Dr. Anita Wong and SLTs affiliated with the HKU Child Language and Speech Laboratory\n(CLAS) will present an introduction to the 13 intervention approaches described in the 85-page Clinical\nManual of Child Language Intervention they developed for teaching the HKU students in the last 2\nyears.
