The aim of this course is to enhance participants' understanding of key issues and interventions in learning and teaching for children with dyslexia. The course will discuss the research and then focus on learning about the child with dyslexia. This will be relevant to both primary and secondary teachers and to parents and all professionals working in this area. There will be an emphasis on equipping the student with the learning skills to develop independence, reflective learning and autonomy in learning.
