The assessment tools are used to support safe and enjoyable mealtimes with the aim of reconciling individual choice and health and safety. The assessment tools are cost effective and useful for residential and day treatment settings and research. Certification is required for use of the Dysphagia Disorder Survey. Other assessment tools are available for open access.
