Speech therapists play a significant role in the management of written language disorders among children and adolescents. In this talk, participants will learn different psycholinguistic theories that explain the reading and writing processes, the empirical findings observed when the theories were applied in studies of Chinese, and the corresponding clinical implications. Practical tips for conducting assessment and treatment will also be shared.
