Diagnostic Terminology for Child Language Disorders in Chinese

In June 2020, a special interest group on Terminology for Child Language Disorders (TCLD) was formed in pursuit of agreement in terminology and diagnostic criteria among researchers, speech-language therapists (SLTs), paediatricians and educational professionals. The TCLD group produced a document in late 2021 summarizing the recommendations on the diagnostic terms and criteria to be used for child speech, language and communication disorders in Hong Kong.
